A lime green cast for a boy with a broken wrist! January 15, 2008

Filed under: Jesse — daisyrubystar @ 5:57 am

Jesse has a Buckle Fracture in his distal Radius on his right wrist.

So, he gets to wear this for a month. Week one almost done, he is adjusting better than I thought.

He broke it while playing at a gymnastics birthday party, fell off a little trampoline and landed on an outstretched arm. Ouchey! But it doesn’t hurt him at all now, it just itches a bit.

Windy day to walk the dogs!

Jesse digging up shells with me.

The whole crew!

The Sugar Shack, our home sweet rental home!

Pretty much what we look at every day, lil hanger on.

Myself and my lovely mother-in-law (and artist extraordinaire) Shirley.

Great art while visiting “the castle”.

Some of Shirley’s masterpieces, really lovely little paintings at a Crystal Beach gallery.

Patrick really liked this one by his mother.

I really like this one, makes me want to ride my bike.

Ruby with my mom and step dad Greg at the Fire station near her house. They serve great burgers, we just finished eating a lot of food when I took this shot. Note the lazy susan on the table, very handy when sharing deep fried okra!

Ruby and the sad little baby lamb shunned by its mother.

This was at my sister-in-law’s little ranch, on the way from Austin to Houston in Carmine, Texas.

Patrick and Lamb-y.

This nativity was in the living room, in lieu of a tree. It was so wonderfully simple and elaborate at the same time. The caretakers, who are from Mexico, created this scene.

And that was Texas!
